My story is all about connecting the dots between different skills to help small businesses thrive. For most of my adult life, I've been in management, and my favorite part has always been coaching my teams to succeed, both in their roles and in their personal ambitions.

The real turning point came in 2012. I was doing the classic "Asheville hustle" with several jobs, including one in retail. I knew I wanted to focus my energy, so I made a proposition to my boss: teach me how to do the books in exchange for the training in QuickBooks and a raise. He agreed, and that decision sparked a passion for the backbone of business that has stayed with me ever since.

In 2017, I joined a small manufacturing business. Seeing that the owner's strengths were elsewhere, I built the company's operational framework from the ground up, eventually stepping into the role of COO. All the while, I was feeding my entrepreneurial side by running a jewelry business, starting a rental venture, and finding clarity and connection through social dance, most recently Argentine Tango.

To formalize my expertise, I earned my Project Management Professional (PMP) and QuickBooks Pro Certifications in 2025. Now, with BCC: Ali, I'm bringing it all together.
